Ochsner Health System Launches its Revitalized
Brand
Ochsner Hospital played a critical role in supporting
the New Orleans community through the tragic events of hurricane Katrina
in August 2005 and the months that followed. By the end of 2005, Ochsner
was back on track and asked BrandActive to lead the implementation of
a revitalized Ochsner brand – created with Ochsner’s partner, Edelman
PR, in New York. BrandActive has been working with Ochsner throughout
2006, assisting with the implementation of the new brand across the current
Ochsner organization, helping them to raise the bar on all aspects of
their service excellence and supporting their growth strategy. Our work
has included the development of a new signage program that covers all
aspects of Ochsner’s signage, including internal and external way-finding,
and the development of a new uniforms program that will help patients
recognize Ochsner caregivers more easily, and improve the overall brand
expression – all while saving money.
